“Are you tired? Worn out? Burned out on religion? Come to me. Get away with me and you’ll recover your life. I’ll show you how to take a real rest. Walk with me and work with me—watch how I do it. Learn the unforced rhythms of grace. I won’t lay anything heavy or ill-fitting on you. Keep company with me and you’ll learn to live freely and lightly.”- Matthew 11:28-30 (The Message)

An invitation from Jesus to the world…..

God has some good advice. It’s better than anybody else’s. In fact, He has a book full of advice that would put the highest paid shrink on the map out of business. Those red words in the Bible aren’t just salve over the cuts and scrapes. They are the Band-Aids that cover the wounds life has put on you.-Jesse Duplantis

They were puzzled, wondering what to make of this. Then, out of nowhere it seemed, two men, light cascading over them, stood there. The women were awestruck and bowed down in worship. The men said, “Why are you looking for the Living One in a cemetery? He is not here, but raised up. Remember how he told you when you were still back in Galilee that he had to be handed over to sinners, be killed on a cross, and in three days rise up?” Then they remembered Jesus’ words.- Luke 24:4-8 (The Message)

It’s time for many of us to wake up. Many do not realize the power of the resurrection. They understand that Jesus is risen, but they do not understand that as a result, ALL of His power is now living on the inside. That resurrection power is ours (Romans 8:11).

So stop looking at the impossibilities. You have resurrection power on the inside of you- ALL things are possible.

The cross is no longer occupied; the tomb is empty! Jesus has risen and His power is yours, and remember He said that when He goes to His Father, greater works you would do (John 14:12). Amen!

Jesus is alive. He came to earth born of a virgin. His life was the perfect example for us to pattern our own lives by. He gave His life as a sacrifice to redeem mankind. He took the keys to hell, death and the grave and upon His resurrection, forever changed the world. Now, Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father making intercession for you and for me. And He’s planning His return. The work has been done. Jesus is risen!- Jesse Duplantis

Resurrection Sunday!

Do you see what this means—all these pioneers who blazed the way, all these veterans cheering us on? It means we’d better get on with it. Strip down, start running—and never quit! No extra spiritual fat, no parasitic sins. Keep your eyes on Jesus, who both began and finished this race we’re in. Study how he did it. Because he never lost sight of where he was headed—that exhilarating finish in and with God—he could put up with anything along the way: Cross, shame, whatever. And now he’s there, in the place of honor, right alongside God. When you find yourselves flagging in your faith, go over that story again, item by item, that long litany of hostility he plowed through. That will shoot adrenaline into your souls!- Hebrews 12:1-3 (The Message)

Our inspiration!

You know, accepting Jesus as your Lord and Savior comes with more than you ever really imagined. The believer’s life is not just about following a code of beliefs in order to be a better person and have a nicer life. It’s about recognizing what Jesus did for you—and it’s so powerful when we simply accept it.- Jesse Duplantis
